Small Grants Scheme

Thank you for visiting the Small Grants Scheme Page

Thank you for enquiring about the Kent Branch of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets small grants scheme.

The Process is now even easier than before

Complete the short application form and submit your application Click here to apply

The Kent Branch will then verify the application with you by telephone, to clarify any additional details. Within two weeks we will let you know if your application has been successful. If it has then within a further two weeks the money will either be paid into your bank account or a cheque will be sent to you for the amount granted.

The Kent Branch of the Marine Society and Sea Cadets are part of the national organisation and are set up to give local focus and support to the charity as well as promoting maritime issues within the county of Kent. We are open to all who share our aims and objectives and run various fund raising activities and profile raising events throughout the year.

To support our work we like to use case studies as a way of promoting what we do and where possible use pictorial evidence.

Should you make an application for funding from the KBMSSC you may be required to supply evidence that the activity took place or that the purchase was made, such as receipts, reports or letters and pictures. Please be aware that this is a requirement, before you complete the application. If for some reason this is not possible then it should be stated on the form. It will not necessarily bar you from a successful application but we would need to know beforehand.

Please read carefully the enclosed material then complete and send to the Secretary along with any relevant supporting paperwork.

May I take this opportunity to wish you every good luck with your application!
